- Shampoo only your scalp – The scalp produces oil and buildup that need cleansing, while your ends are more fragile. When you rinse, the shampoo naturally flows through the lengths, cleaning them gently without excessive stripping.
- Support hair growth when washing – Washing too frequently or harshly can cause some shedding, so gentle handling and nourishing products (like oils or growth serums) can help maintain healthier strands and scalp. Lebanta Batana Oil is one example, but always check ingredients and reviews to see if it suits your hair type.
- Apply conditioner or masks on damp (not dripping wet) hair – Too much water blocks the hair shaft from absorbing moisturizing or strengthening ingredients. Squeezing out the excess moisture prepares your strands to soak up the conditioner or mask effectively.
